Trust is the foundation of our work. That is why transparency is not just a commitment for us, but a natural part of how we operate every day. We are a non-profit organisation founded out of personal experience with single parenthood. We know how hard it is to raise children on your own. And that is exactly why we want our work to be clear, verifiable and open to everyone.
Our approach to transparency
- We follow the Code of Ethics for Social Workers and Social Work Assistants of the Slovak Republic, approved by the Slovak Chamber of Social Workers.
- We respect and comply with the applicable legislation of the Slovak Republic.
- We have our own internal guidelines and code of ethics, which apply to every member of our team – employees, volunteers and partners alike.
- Our communication with single parents is open, fair and based on truthful information.
Financial transparency
- We use all public funds, sponsorship donations and grants purposefully and efficiently – in line with our mission and goals.
- We regularly publish our annual reports on our website and social media, and we also share them through our newsletter. Financial statements and other public documents about the organisation are available online, for example in the public register of contracts and the register of financial statements.
- We build our relationships with partner, collaborating and donor organisations on open and mutual trust.
